This album is so good it's crazy to think a dirtbag like Fred Durst had anything to do with it (everything I read tells me he had nothing to do with the music but everything to do with Kenna getting a record deal).
Kenna is hard to define. It's somewhere in the realm of electronica, but has a strong sense of melody and drops in hip-hop beats (courtesy of Chase Chad of The Neptunes). I honestly can't tell you exactly what it sounds like because I haven't ever heard anything else like it. Take a look at this video and it'll help you understand.
