The Makers - Rock Star God

I won this album in a contest on Myspace. I think The Makers had switched labels or something and they had a box of old albums they needed to get rid of. They asked their fans to blow smoke up their butts and the best smoke-blowers would get a free CD. I think I compared them to Thor's hammer or something similarly grandiose. Sometimes it pays to suck up.

Anyway, the album itself is thoroughly enjoyable. The Makers took a turn toward a more psychedelic sound on this album and it suits them just fine.
