This is the first Komeda album I ever heard. I was in a band with my friend David, and he was showing me how complex rhythms work. We were sitting in his car as he played the song "Disko" over and over and we tried to figure out how many beats it took for the drummer to flip the beat upside down. Good times. This is probably Komeda's best album. It adds a pop sensibility that was underplayed on Pop Pa Svenkska but doesn't stray from the delightfully obscure wanderings of previous albums.
