It seems like there were a lot of good soundtracks coming out in the 90's. Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite soundtracks of the entire decade, which is really saying something. Oddly enough, the soundtrack has aged better than the movie itself. There are so many good songs on this soundtrack and very little dead weight. The Crash Test Dummies cover of "The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead" is fantastic. Deadeye Dick's "New Age Girl" was one of my favorite songs to play at parties in the 90's. The two songs from this album that found their way onto more mix tapes than any others are "Where I Find My Heaven" by Gigolo Aunts and "Too Much of a Good Thing" by The Sons. The only throwaway tracks on the album are "Hurdy Gurdy Man" by The Butthole Surfers and the cover of "You Sexy Thing" by Dee-Lite. Even those tracks are still listenable. Everything else on the album is well worth the price of purchase. I don't hesitate to give this soundtrack...
