I don't know who started telling bands, "Hey! Put random numbers in your name! All the cool bands are doing it!" but they need to be beaten for their crimes. Despite doing the whole number in the name thing, 98 Mute manages to be a pretty awesome punk band. They're somewhere along the Strung Out/Pennywise portion of the punk band continuum. This is neither the most important punk album I've ever heard nor is it the best, but it's very very good. If you need something to get your blood pumping and your heart racing, After the Fall is a pretty decent choice.
