Ozma - The Doubble Donkey Disc

The Doubble Donkey Disc collects two Ozma EP's in one handy package. Very evident in this disc is Ozma's obsession with communist-era Russia. Oh, and let's not forget that they sound like a cross between blue album-era Weezer and The Rentals (two of my very favorite things. Yum yum). There is nothing to dislike about The Doubble Donkey Disc. It has crunchy guitars, super hooks, vintage synths, and let's not forget the cover of "Korobeiniki" (which you know as the music from Tetris). I can't even tell you how many mixes "The Business of Getting Down" has made it onto. It's just super solid music from a really awesome band that you might not know. Pick it up. If your musical tastes overlap with mine at all, this album will be right up your alley.
