How do you know when you don't like a cd in your collection? Well, it's a pretty good giveaway when you find yourself enduring it rather than enjoying it and wishing you were done so you could listen to something else. I have danced to Chemical Brothers and found them utterly fantastic. Then I bought their album back when I was the sort of person who went to a couple raves in his heyday and I thought it was every bit as good as Prodigy's Fat of the Land. Now I find it a complete chore to sit through well over and hour of pulsing rhythms. I guess I'm just getting old. Anyway, I don't think The Chemical Brothers are the type of group you sit down and listen to and I'm too old and live in too small a town to take them in in any other way.
