There was a time when I would openly apologize for having records such as this in my collection. Those days are done. Now I'm a guy who is getting older and doesn't see the point in trying to maintain any semblance of coolness. I'm mere months away from wearing a fanny pack in public with nary a hint of irony. Anyway, Bowling For Soup is a whole lot of fun. I have listened to their albums, seen them live, and even hung out with them for a very short while. Music like this is often described as disposable, but I don't think I'll be throwing it out any time soon. It's pure pop punk joy. This is what Me First and the Gimme Gimme's would be if they played originals instead of covers.
