Ash-Free All Angels

This is probably the best place to start if you have never known the joy that is Ash. They sound like a much fuller band on this album due in no small part to the fourth member they had added on the previous album (the aforementioned and attractive Charlotte Hatherley whose solo albums are also very good). Practically every song on this album was released as a single at some point, and when you hear this album from top to bottom it becomes apparent that practically every track is single-worthy. There is no filler and absolutely no throwaways here. I feel like I'm waxing hyperbolic, so I'll shut myself up and throw it to the track below. Oh, and I must say that this was the first album where I had a legitimately hard time deciding which track I should feature (I don't host tracks anymore. It's time consuming and possibly illegal). And now I'm shutting up.
