If you have enjoyed other Apples in Stereo albums, you will no doubt find Science Faire as disappointing as I did. Science Faire is a compilation of early EP's and demos that don't so much as hint to the greatness that would eventually flow forth from the band. Some of the songs on Science Faire appear in much better and more fully realized versions on later albums. This is one of those compilations that normally get tagged, "For Completists Only," but I can't help but thinking that completists won't get much a kick out of it. I will say this: the album title is excellent as is the artwork.
