Transformers Mini-Con Drivetrain
Drivetrain is another Mini-Con I picked up at Family Dollar. It was just as inexpensive as Break-Neck, and looks a little better when transformed. As it is with Break-Neck, Drivetrain transforms from automobile to robot in four to five easy steps. There's no point consulting the diagrams on the back of the package because it's all pretty easy to figure out on your own.
Drivetrain features a much more well-defined head than Break-Neck, but suffers even more from a lack of well-defined hands because, as you can see, the hands are the same color as the bed of the truck. The manufacturer probably saved money by only using three colors of paint on these toys, so I can't complain too much when I was able to pick these up on the cheap. Once again, these Mini-Cons are mostly for fun and won't stand up in a comparison with the Generation 1 Transformers line, but they were never meant to.
