I bought this album because it was on a listening post at Hoodlum's which, until its untimely demise due to fire, was the greatest record store in the universe. I bought a lot of good music that way. Anyway, The All-American Rejects had such great pop sensibility that I couldn't resist buying their debut album. I even saw them live once, but when I realized that their fanbase consisted of 12 year old girls, I shoved this disc into a box where it remained until this week. The lesson, as always, is that you like what you like and you should never let shame trump enjoyment.
