I love a-ha. Let's get that out of the way right off the bat. Anyway, this is not their best album. Their best album is East of the Sun, West of the Moon. Memorial Beach has two stellar songs that are worth the price of admission: "Dark is the Night for All" and "Angel in the Snow." The rest of the album sounds kinda U2-ish in a generic and forgettable way. It's not a bad album, but it's not the best a-ha has to offer. If you thought a-ha was a one-hit wonder synthpop group, I urge you to reconsider.
