This is apparently a side project from one of the members of
Primal Scream, which is one of those bands I just don't get. I'm sure you all have one of those: a band whose music seems like the sort of thing you should like, but you just don't. For me it's bands/artists like
Deftones,
Santana, and
The Rolling Stones, among many others. Anyway, I don't like Primal Scream, but I love
Adventures in Stereo. I bought them simply because they have a cool name, a good album cover, and were near The Adventures of Jet in the cd rack. Sometimes you take a chance and get something good. Anyway, they sound like
All Girl Summer Fun Band meets
Stereolab.
