The Aeffect- A Short Dream

Here's something interesting I've found through years of speculative record buying: if a band is known for making music completely different than that of their labelmates, chances are they're pretty good (see: The Beatles on Parlaphone, which was primarily a jazz label before The Beatles came along). Anyway, The Aeffect are a Depeche Mode-ish synthpop group on Fueled By Ramen, a label known mainly for emo and pop punk. In keeping with my aforementioned rule, they're pretty good. I don't know much about them, but this EP is pretty good. I don't think they've done much else.
